Using that knowledge and experience gained has helped us build an approach that can help a doctor considering a scratch start, a purchase, a partnership, a “jump start/ shell” practice and multiple practice ownership. MEET JONATHAN

Founder of De Novo Practice

Jonathan spent 10 years with one of the largest dental specific lenders in the country. His focus was helping dentists evaluate their first practice purchase and obtain the right project financing for a scratch start up.


As a result of his reputation and relationships he was invited to speak year after year to some of the top dental schools in the country like UCLA, USC, Loma Linda, Western University, University of Pennsylvania and Temple.


It was his passion for First Time Owners that lead Jonathan to leave corporate banking and follow his passion for helping those to seek accurate information. He even wrote a book about it and has contributed to several different podcasts and is a featured strategist for Ignite DDS. 


As your advocate Jonathan’s goal is to put you on the path towards practice ownership, while minimizing your risk and taking away the fear of the unknown. He can show you how to grow your practice and build your brand and in doing so helping to preserve the private practice model, one doctor a time.

  • When is the best time to get started with you?

    Now! Kidding. Sort of…it’s like a patient asking “when is the best time to fix a cracked tooth?” if you’re like us you’d say, “yesterday” but jokes aside we know we have the most impact and ability to save you time and money when we are implemented as early in the process as possible. There is a tipping point that in some cases would prevent you from working with us because we cannot generate the necessary ROI to meet expectations. In short please don’t hesitate to call or email.

  • Do you help me with marketing?

    Yes that is a big part of our customize approach. With that bing said, our role is not marketing company. Instead we help you make the right decision on the company first, then our role is to make sure you get the right marketing for your needs and also something that meets your budget. Imagine this, marketing companies are good at MARKETING THEMSELVES. So they all sound great and all look awesome on social media, websites and have a great presentation (if they don’t run!). We're here to protect you from making bad investments and decisions, especially in this area where most doctor’s get mislead. We also passionately believe in a lot of different strategies that work depending on your needs whether you’re a GP or a specialist. And it’s crucial that we understand the demographics, and patient base that you’ll be located in because we can use that to create a major competitive advantage which means your marketing investment dollar goes farther.

  • What are the additional costs for your services?

    Our reputation and getting word of mouth referrals are at the core of our business values. For that reason we do not add additional costs to work with us. We flat fee our pricing based on the project at hand and we will disclose this to you in black and white once we’ve had a chance to talk about what your looking for. 


  • Won’t my project team essentially do all of this for me (i.e. bank, contractor, equipment rep, etc.)?

    Don’t believe us, we can share real life examples of this and you can speak to those doctor’s yourself.

  • Can you help me buy a practice OR start a practice?

    ABSOLUTELY. We started out focusing on start up from scratch style practices and expanded to helping doctors that were buying practices.

Get on a phone call. Let’s schedule a call to discuss what’s really possible and cut through the noise and confusion from podcasts and social media.
